Re: Purah ↗
Thank you for the copy edit! A few bits threw me for a loop (why remove the brackets around the contraction and disconnect that one sentence?) but I appreciate the help all the same! Kung Fu Man (talk) 20:43, 26 February 2024 (UTC)
:{{u|Kung Fu Man}} No problem, and thanks in return for your fixes. I was poking around somewhere last week when I came across the article and noticed it was GA-nommed, so I took a look at it and things took off from there. <span style="color:black">'''sixty'''</span><span style="color:darkred">'''nine'''</span> <small><span style='color:darkblue;text-shadow: 0.2em 0.2em 0.5em black'>'''• whaddya want? •'''</span></small> 21:04, 26 February 2024 (UTC)

source use help
Hey again Beemer, this source https://www.researchgate.net/publication/342945119_Female_Representation_in_Video_Games ↗ is kinda tough for me to add for the article ↗. I have difficulty with English sometimes as I am not native, but only if you do have free time. I already sent req at GOCE for the article to be copyedited once again. Thank you again for making this article better when you actually helped me before. :D <span style="background:green;border-radius:9999px;padding:1px 8px;color:white;"><span style="font-weight:bold">Greenish</span>Pickle!</span> (🔔) 13:51, 17 March 2024 (UTC)
: Howdy. Unfortunately there's no mention of Ada in this paper. I ''did'', however, find some content on Kitana that's definitely worth squeezing into her article, so it's not a total loss. (And now I have to be nosy and ask, where do you call home?) :) <span style="color:black">'''sixty'''</span><span style="color:darkred">'''nine'''</span> <small><span style='color:darkblue;text-shadow: 0.2em 0.2em 0.5em black'>'''• whaddya want? •'''</span></small> 04:21, 21 March 2024 (UTC)
::I managed to find it and already added to the article, just in time you've replied here somehow, but not sure how to convert that source correctly so for now I just cited a bare URL lol:-D. Great Job. Thou, cleaning up that article is a nightmare. :::True, unfortunately, but despite ''MK'' being one of the biggest game franchises of all time, NRS has also been consistently terrible at marketing the individual characters toward mainstream audiences, aside from the big four (Scorp, Sub, Kitana and Mileena). Re: Access dates in citations
Thanks for the notice. I've been using an automated fill-ins for some of the reflinks, and sometimes, they don't include access dates, for some reason. Nice work on Jade, by the way. I'm thinking of trying to get her to GA.
By the way, I've been meaning to bring back Goro too. What do you think of the draft? MoonJet (talk) 07:22, 20 March 2024 (UTC)
:{{u|MoonJet}} Thanks. Not sure why I felt so compelled to just dive in there and do so much in one sitting. :) I'm legit impressed that so much relevant reception now exists about her (and you digging it up), despite her still-relative lack of importance in the series. Unfortunately before I could then reply about Goro I started feeling unwell, so I'll get to that tomorrow. Cheers. <span style="color:black">'''sixty'''</span><span style="color:darkred">'''nine'''</span> <small><span style='color:darkblue;text-shadow: 0.2em 0.2em 0.5em black'>'''• whaddya want? •'''</span></small> 06:59, 21 March 2024 (UTC)
::To be honest, much of this reception has existed for a while. It just wasn't uncovered at the time she was in AFD last year. As for her lack of importance to the story, she's a popular character nonetheless. Not to mention, characters that has had sex appeal usually gets a decent amount of coverage. As for Goro, no worries, I can wait. MoonJet (talk) 20:47, 21 March 2024 (UTC)
:::{{u|MoonJet}} Hey again. I've also ended up dealing with personal issues this week (when it rains it pours) but tomorrow's finally my Friday and I usually save all my MK-related work for weekends while armed with coffee. :) Anyway, it's getting ''so'' much harder to find viable MK character reception nowadays, especially for the guys. Heck, I'm honestly surprised I've found as much as I have for someone like Ermac. <span style="color:black">'''sixty'''</span><span style="color:darkred">'''nine'''</span> <small><span style='color:darkblue;text-shadow: 0.2em 0.2em 0.5em black'>'''• whaddya want? •'''</span></small> 05:48, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
::::Yeah, so many of the old gaming websites and publications go under, so reception certain characters may have had before really thins out today. Not to mention, Google searches are usually filled with Valnet sites these days, sources that remains divisive among this community. I refuse to believe a character as unique as Goro didn't have way more coverage back in the day. I also want to see if the likes of Kano, Noob Saibot, Sindel and Quan Chi can be brought back too. But let's focus on Goro for now. MoonJet (talk) 20:54, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
:::::I think in regards to the whole Valnet debacle, there ''are'' some nuggets out there that honestly go into depth about a character (i.e., this ↗), but they're few and far in between. "10 Interesting Facts about [MK character]" - yeah, they don't have anything we don't know already. Anyway, I'll take future Goro discussion to your talk page. <span style="color:black">'''sixty'''</span><span style="color:darkred">'''nine'''</span> <small><span style='color:darkblue;text-shadow: 0.2em 0.2em 0.5em black'>'''• whaddya want? •'''</span></small> 22:47, 25 March 2024 (UTC)

Hey! I noticed you removed a couple of lines on the Mister Cee ↗ article. I just wanted to make sure I'm not doing something wrong:

Hello. I wanted your help, if you don't mind. I wanted to create Takeda Takahashi's article and added all the sources I could find, but I'm not sure if my grammar is okay. Here is it (User:Kazama16/sandbox). Not gonna lie, I'm hella embarrassed. I asked another editor, but he is currently busy working on other articles and has completely ignored me. Notable or non-notable
Hello,
Just a quick question; is the following academic considered notable?

AfD
I think it wasn't really a matter of SPAs at the AfD but the sheer visibility of the page. See daily page views https://pageviews.wmcloud.org/?project=en.wikipedia.org&platform=all-access&agent=user&redirects=0&range=latest-30&pages=Steven_van_de_Velde ↗. Whenever an article gets nominated at AfD, a notice is placed on the article itself. Odds are a bunch of readers who have no idea about how our processes work click in outrage and comment like they did there. That article is getting considerable traffic right now. <span style="color:darkorchid">Clovermoss</span><span style="color:green">🍀</span> (talk) 21:40, 5 August 2024 (UTC)

:: I disagree. We have high-profile articles nominated for deletion regularly that do not get that degree of "new" accounts appearing to make single comments. I frankly think that the many new voters are a single person with a bunch of socks, but protecting the page stops the disruption either way. <span style="background:gold">'''''BD2412'''''</span> '''T''' 23:19, 5 August 2024 (UTC)
:::I think the nature of the crime the article subject committed is what prompted several people to comment in outrage. To me, it seems more likely that it really is just a bunch of different people that don't know how Wikipedia works when the page is receiving more than 40,000 pageviews a day. Sfn errors
Hi, when you worked on Mileena ↗ you generated some sfn errors here ↗ and here ↗, which I believe I have now fixed.
Do you know there are scripts to highlight sfn errors? Otherwise small errors can mean that the references don't match the bibliography. I use Svick's script, there are some instructions about it here ↗. TSventon (talk) 17:57, 28 January 2025 (UTC)
:{{u|TSventon}} Thanks for the heads-up and fixes. I didn't know the Preisler cite was missing, and regarding Carvalho, I had no idea how to properly split his name, so I just said the heck with it and left it whole. <b style="color:darkred; text-shadow:gray 0.2em 0.2em 0.4em;">💥<i>Casualty</i></b> <small><span style='color:black;text-shadow:0.2em 0.2em 0.5em black'>'''• Hop along. •'''</span></small> 18:54, 28 January 2025 (UTC)
::My main point was to recommend the script as it gives a big red message when there is an error. I looked at Portuguese name ↗s and I'm still not sure where to split de Carvalho, but the sfn template will be happy as long as the surname matches the surname in the full citation. I for one frankly do not see how it improves the encyclopedia if people are not doing due diligence research before filing AFDs, especially when they are repeated listings. Better source request for :File:ReptileMKXrender.png ↗
Thanks for your upload to Wikipedia:
You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright ↗ status of the image because the source is incomplete or generic. Please consider clarifying the ''exact'' source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact source (such as the web page, or printed document) where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain, search engine, pinboard, aggregator, or the direct/bare URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. Hi. I'm happy enough that Turner was removed, as I doubt his notability also. "Bassist" is generic and can be deceiving
You recently altered a Deaths in 2026 ↗ description of Ian Hampton from "bass guitarist" to "bassist".
Personally I assume that anyone described as a "bassist" plays a Double bass ↗ though I can understand its use for anyone playing any Bass instrument ↗ that produces Sub-bass ↗ range sounds.
I realize that anyone writing in the context of a particular kind of music may use the word for whichever kind of instrument is used for that music but I think specificity is more informative.~2026-22893-71 ↗ (talk) 16:19, 9 June 2026 (UTC)
