Women in Red
Hi there, Mustleib, and welcome to Women in Red. It's good to see you intend to help us improve Wikipedia's coverage of women. When you feel ready to create your first biography, you'll find guidance in our Ten Simple Rules ↗. Please let me know if you run into any difficulties or need assistance. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 15:08, 25 February 2026 (UTC)
:Many thanks for the welcome, @Ipigott. I am excited to join the community and taking my first steps with an article on Kongla Ann ↗. The Ten Simple Rules ↗ you shared were really useful for understanding the aims and standards for Women in Red ↗. I appreciate you reaching out! Mustleib (talk) 06:09, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
Sirvikalender ↗ moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to Sirvikalender ↗. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because '''it has no sources'''.
I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page ↗.
When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Erakilos (talk) 20:14, 28 March 2026 (UTC)
:Thank you so much, Erakilos. Apologies, as I was in a rush to quickly save my progress before my laptop died. I hadn't finished the citations yet and should have put the article in draftspace. I really appreciate your help. I'm back now and will get those added properly so the article meets the required standards. Mustleib (talk) 21:19, 28 March 2026 (UTC)
::No worries! Erakilos (talk) 05:04, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
:::Thank you for your patience, @Erakilos. I have now added citations to the Sirvikalender ↗ article to ensure it meets the required verifiability standards. The draft is ready for another look. I have submitted it for review as I think it is ready for mainspace. Many thanks again for moving this to the draftspace while I finalised the sources. Mustleib (talk) 05:51, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
::::No worries! Erakilos (talk) 06:23, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks for adding all the sources, Mustleib. I've now moved it back to mainspace and given it a B-class rating. That's extremely high for anyone's first article but you have really made a very good effort on it, Keep up the good work!--Ipigott (talk) 07:32, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
- :Many thanks @Ipigott! I really appreciate you taking a look over the page and your kind words. Mustleib (talk) 07:52, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
::*I found the article very interesting. Maybe you plan to add more articles along similar lines? I think it would be really useful if you re-established your user page by removing the redirect. It would be interesting for us to learn something about your background and why you have started contributing to Wikipedia. If you are not keen to display the icons from The Wikipedia Adventure you can simply delete them but it would be useful to keep the Women in Red user template. Just let me know if you need any assistance in this connection. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 08:06, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
::*:Thank you @Ipigott for your kind words about Sirvikalender ↗ and for the recommendation. As a new user, I was unsure what to include, so I had been using the space to experiment with different features while I focused on learning how to edit articles. I have just finished Kongla Ann ↗ for Women in Red and now that it is complete, I will try to add a little more to my user profile. I appreciate the heads-up! Mustleib (talk) 13:04, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
::*::Thanks so much for your help previously @Ipigott with my first article. And I wanted to reach out and also say how much I appreciated that you helped review Hermithe Hyppolite ↗ as well!
::*::Sorry to bother you but I was wondering about a bit of advice for a page I stumbled across (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft_talk:Qiulae_Wong) and tried to help add sources to. I added what relevant sources I could find, but it seems it was recently rejected again. I am not the original author, but was just trying to help the original poster as I saw it sitting in drafts.
::*::Qiulae seems noteworthy as a political party leader. That said, I haven't been able to get any peer-reviewed journal articles for her as most of the relevant links are news sources. I was able to find a government source from some of her work in the UK, but it seems it isn't enough to get the article over the line. I am not sure what to do. Any advice you have would be appreciated! Mustleib (talk) 17:12, 24 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::I've looked at Qiulae and in my opinion she is sufficiently notable for inclusion. I believe the draft has not been accepted because most of the citations are too closely related to the subject or her party. My basic advice on creating new articles is to first find at least three reliable independent sources which describe the subject in some detail and to submit a first version of the article on that basis. Once the article has been accepted, it can be expanded with information from other sources. One of the problems seems to be that sources such as this ↗ are from newspapers which can only be accessed over the web after a subscription has been made. However, anyone who has a physical copy of the paper or has been able to access it over the web can of course include pertinent information from it, giving the title of the article, date of publication, etc. Some of the citations used in the draft such as RNZ ↗ are already acceptable. It may therefore be worthwhile basing a new draft of the article on verifiably reliable independent sources, perhaps with the assistance of experienced contributors from Wikipeoject New Zealand such as {{u|MurielMary}}. Please keep in touch if you decide to proceed along these lines.--Ipigott (talk) 09:00, 25 April 2026 (UTC)
:Thanks so much @Ipigott for your advice. I have taken the time to find and add more newspaper sources with quotes. I was a little confused about how to submit a first version as I am not the original creator of this draft article. Since I am helping someone else, I wasn't sure if that required another draft in my draftspace? Happy to follow your guidance! Many thanks again. Mustleib (talk) 15:12, 4 May 2026 (UTC)
:Appreciate all your help @Ipigott! Just wanted to update you that your suggestion was helpful. After reaching out on Muriel's talk page, I got some help from another user who saw the message. Really appreciate the tip. Thanks for helping make another Women in Red page blue! Mustleib (talk) 13:32, 5 May 2026 (UTC)

Such links are usually incorrect ↗, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. <small>(Read the FAQ{{*}} Join us at the DPL WikiProject ↗.)</small>

Hello!
Kia ora Mustleib - I belatedly saw your note on the Lunchipedia page from 2 April. It would be lovely to have you at our next meetup! We are skipping this week as it is school holidays and I'm needing a break - but we will meet next Friday (17th) and continuing thereafter. Looking forward to meeting you! DrThneed (talk) 05:39, 9 April 2026 (UTC)
:Kia ora @DrThneed
:Sorry for my slow reply. I wasn't able to join last week due to a marking meeting and unfortunately this week I was out sick. Aroha mai for not notifying you. I hope I can join you all soon! Appreciate you reaching out and sorry I failed to message after my initial sign up!
:I am not sure how much you edit pages related to political figures here in Aotearoa, but if you are interested at all, I had a wee question... I came across the page for the new TOP party leader Qiulae Wong (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft_talk:Qiulae_Wong) that was having some trouble getting out of draft stage. I reached out to try to help the original poster by adding references to what they wrote, but recently was declined for a second time. I am a bit stumped as a newbie on how I can improve the references, so if you have any tips I can try before resubmitting so that the next review is successful, any advice would be helpful!
:Hope to catch up soon! Mustleib (talk) 17:30, 24 April 2026 (UTC)

AfD: Merging Ancient Estonia ↗
Hi there! I just submitted an AfD for the above page, and I noticed from its edit history that you've been a frequent contributor in the past months. Out of courtesy, I wanted to let you know about the AfD so you can weigh in if you like. It's here: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ancient Estonia ↗. Thanks! RaisedArizona (talk) 17:34, 7 June 2026 (UTC)
:Thanks @RaisedArizona for letting me know. I am sorry for the late reply, especially since the afd/merge discussion has already closed. Appreciate you reading through the article, reviewing it, and taking the time to drop a note here to keep me in the loop. Mustleib (talk) 10:42, 22 June 2026 (UTC)

Unattributed translations
25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text from :es:Asesinato de Dayana Kenia Zárate ↗ to :Murder of Dayana Kenia Zárate Bustamante ↗. While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing ↗ '''requires that you provide attribution''' to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in an '''edit summary ↗''' on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation and linking ↗ it to the source page. Sample wording for this is given here ↗. If you forgot, or were not aware of this requirement, attribution '''must be given retroactively ↗''', for example:
: <code><nowiki>NOTE: Content in the edit of 01:25, January 25, 2023 was translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at :fr:Exact name of French article ↗; see its history for attribution.</nowiki></code>
Retroactive attribution may be added using a dummy edit ↗; see Repairing insufficient attribution ↗.
It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{tl|translated page}} template on the talk page of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, you must add attribution retrospectively ↗, even if it was a long time ago. You can read more about author attribution and the reasons for it at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia ↗. Thank you. <!-- Template:uw-translation --> JTtheOG (talk) 20:01, 29 June 2026 (UTC)
:Thank you @JTtheOG for getting in touch about this. I am not sure why this has been flagged for fr-wiki, but this article was attributed to es-wiki on publication. The banner was placed on the talk page as of 12:28, 29 June 2026. See Special:Permalink/1361676469 ↗. Mustleib (talk) 09:30, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
::Hello. The note above about the French wiki is just an example of what you should include in the edit summary when you translate an article from another wiki. Thank you, JTtheOG (talk) 19:50, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
:::Much appreciated @JTtheOG I wasn't aware this was needed in the edit summary in addition to the talk page. Appreciate you clarifying! I have added the dummy edit to my previously translated pages using the tool. Thank you! Mustleib (talk) 11:49, 1 July 2026 (UTC)
::::Awesome! Thank you and happy editing. JTtheOG (talk) 18:35, 2 July 2026 (UTC)
