Speedy deletion ↗ nomination of :File:Riga - 35433614493 1.jpg ↗

48px|left|alt=|link= ↗

A tag has been placed on :File:Riga - 35433614493 1.jpg ↗ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may '''contest the nomination''' by visiting the page ↗ and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines ↗. <!-- Template:Db-redundantimage-notice --> <!-- Template:Db-csd-notice-custom --> --<span style="font-family: monospace, monospace; color:#69C;">Minorax</span>&laquo;&brvbar;'''talk'''&brvbar;&raquo; 06:49, 30 December 2022 (UTC)

List of professional sports leagues by revenue

Hello! I reverted your update to the NBA's revenue numbers in the "Leagues by Revenue" list. I followed the link to the source article, but found it was only talking about the new rules for resting players, and had no information about revenue. I also noticed you were citing revenues for the 2023-24 season, which doesn't even start for another 5 days, so I think it's probably far too early to be updating our revenue totals with information from that particular season. There are contractual revenues out into the future one could cite for many of these leagues from media rights and ongoing sponsorship deals, but then we'd end up having to chase data to keep the numbers up to date, and probably roll into the realm of WP:OR ↗.

I expect we might be able to find a newer source for the 2022-23 season, but we shouldn't try and push into the future for this topic. <span style="color: BLUE;">Ham</span><span style="color: GREEN;">tech</span><span style="color: RED;">person</span> ↗ 14:10, 19 October 2023 (UTC)

Hello, would you please explain me this fact ↗, 'cause I am not exactly familiar with en.wiki's customs? The article is 120+ kb long, thus I'd assume such long lead is now justified (whereas I might understand you judged it too long when I first edited it). The initial section summarizes the multiple issued treated in the article, and is necessarily a bit long, but I asume adequate to the lenght of the whole article. UK population estimates

Hi Respublik, thanks for your hard work updating population data on several articles. But please don't keep updating to the ONS 2023 estimates. All the English District templates ↗ will update to the mid-2022 figure when they are released, including English district population, English district rank, English statistics year and United Kingdom district population citation. RFA2024 update: no longer accepting new proposals in phase I

Hey there! This is to let you know that phase I of the 2024 requests for adminship (RfA) review ↗ is now '''no longer accepting new proposals'''. Lots of proposals remain open for discussion, and the current round of review looks to be on a good track towards making significant progress towards improving RfA ↗'s structure and environment. I'd like to give my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has given us their idea for change to make RfA better, and the same to everyone who has given the necessary feedback to improve those ideas. The following proposals remain open for discussion:

To read proposals that were closed as unsuccessful, please see Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/2024 review/Phase I/Closed proposals ↗. You are cordially invited once again to participate in the open discussions; when phase I ends, phase II will review the outcomes of trial proposals and refine the implementation details of other proposals. Another notification will be sent out when this phase begins, likely with the first successful close of a major proposal. Happy editing! theleekycauldron ↗ (talk • she/her), via:

Speedy deletion ↗ nomination of :File:Helios 2 Vilnius.jpg ↗

48px|left|alt=|link= ↗

A tag has been placed on :File:Helios 2 Vilnius.jpg ↗ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.

Spelling revert

Hi Respublik, you reverted my spelling modification "Childrens' World" to "Children's World" here ↗ with the remark "Plural". Was "Childrens' World" really the name of the department store??? If so, this was an error, because "children" is the plural of "child" and not "childrens". --Cyfal (talk) 18:34, 21 August 2025 (UTC)

Categorization in Template:Airports in Italy ↗

Hi.<br> I saw that you modified the Template:Airports in Italy ↗ by re-categorizing international Airport in medium and minor. How did you consider that division? it seems NOT to be based on passenger movements and/or total flights, but rather on the importance (inhabitants? area?) of the cities that are linked to (thus, NOT to airports'...things).
In addition, has this modification being talked with other users before being applied? I cannot find where it was discussed.

regards Riktetta (talk) 09:15, 22 May 2026 (UTC)

:@Riktetta It is based on the number of international travelers per airport, with the cutoff set roughly at the demonstrated figure needed to be between the 100 most busiest airports in Europe (taken from 90th-100th). The minors row felt crowded and therefore not very informative for casual readers or navigation, but I don't have a strong attachment to this edit, as such navboxes use various methods for decrowding - by grouping by region, others use active uses, or some just don;t. I ain't strongly committed to the change - just thought it was worth proposing - feel free to reedit in any way you want. Respublik (talk) 02:19, 23 May 2026 (UTC)
::Hi
::Not sure what to do in order to both improve the listing/categorization and keep sections not crowded. Maybe it would be a deal to keep sorting medium/smaller international airports on the base of total travelers (rather than just international) so also airports like Cagliari and Lamezia (that, as per today, can NOT be consider smaller airports) can be categorized into medium.... For the moment I only moved back Foggia airport into domestic section, as there is no scheduled international service. <br> Riktetta (talk) 11:09, 23 May 2026 (UTC)
