MOS:CONTRAST ↗
{{quote |* Ensure that color is not the only method used to communicate important information. Especially, do not use colored text or background unless its status is also indicated using another method, such as an accessible symbol ↗ matched to a legend, or footnote labels ↗. Otherwise, blind ↗ users or readers accessing Wikipedia through a printout or device without a color screen will not receive that information.
- Links should clearly be identifiable as a link to our readers.
- Some readers of Wikipedia are partially or fully color-blind ↗ or visually impaired. Ensure the contrast of the text with its background reaches at least Web Content Accessibility Guidelines ↗ (WCAG) 2.0's AA level, and AAA level when feasible (see WCAG's "Understanding SC 1.4.3: Contrast (Minimum)" ↗). To use named CSS colors for text on a white background, refer to Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Accessibility/CSS colors for text on white ↗ for recommended colors. For other usage, here is a selection of tools that can be used to check that the contrast is correct:
- * You can use a few online tools to check color contrasts, including: the WebAIM ↗ online contrast checker ↗, or the WhoCanUse ↗ site, or Snook's Colour Contrast Check ↗.}}

Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval ↗
Hi. Do you know when Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval became a city? I am about to update List of towns in Quebec ↗. In comparing it with entries in List of municipalities in Quebec ↗, the number of cities has apparently grown by seven. Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval is the only one I can't confirm when the status change occurred. Cheers, Hwy43 (talk) 21:54, 26 December 2024 (UTC)
:{{Re|Hwy43}} Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval changed status from municipality to city on December 8, 2012. The official link is here: https://statistique.quebec.ca/statistiques/divisions-territoriales/bulletins/modifications-municipalites-dec12.pdf Roncanada (talk) 00:33, 28 December 2024 (UTC)

List of munis in QC
Hi. What is this ↗ all about? New Cree village? If so please add a reference. Also, are today’s edits re: Anjou by another editor legitimate? Your help is appreciated. Cheers, Hwy43 (talk) 03:55, 13 July 2025 (UTC)
:This is the reference for Oujé-Bougoumou:
:https://statistique.quebec.ca/statistiques/divisions-territoriales/bulletins/modifications-municipalites-fevrier-2025.pdf
:For Anjou, no the modifications are not legitimate and should be reverted. Anjou was annexed by Montreal in 2002 and is now a borough of Montreal with no change planned in the short term. Roncanada (talk) 04:05, 13 July 2025 (UTC)
Please use edit summaries when editing articles
25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello. Thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia ↗. I noticed that one or more recent edits you made did not have an edit summary ↗. Collaboration among editors is fundamental to Wikipedia, and every edit should be explained by a clear edit summary ↗, or by discussion on the talk page ↗. Please use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit and/or to describe what it changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief ↗.
The edit summary field looks like this:
{{Edit summary field/OOUI}}
or in the visual editor:
{{Edit summary field/VisualEditor}}
{{strong|Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make.}} When logged in to your Wikipedia account ↗, you can give yourself a reminder by setting {{myprefs|3|check={{int:tog-forceeditsummary}}}}, and then click the "{{int:saveprefs}}" button.

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to :Cleveland, Quebec ↗ when you modified the page, you introduced {{cl|Unknown parameters|unknown parameters}}. Just because you specify {{para|some_param|{{var|some_variable}}}} does not always mean that variable will display. The {{para|some_param}} must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview ↗ button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a '''Show preview''' button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history ↗ of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk ↗ for assistance.

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, I'm Taking Out The Trash. An edit that you recently made to :Sainte-Lucie-des-Laurentides ↗ seemed to be generated using a large language model ↗ (an "AI chatbot ↗" or other application using such technology). Text produced by these applications is usually unsuitable for an encyclopedia ↗, and may contain factually inaccurate statements, fictitious citations, or other problems. You should instead read reliable sources ↗ and then summarize those in your own words. Your edit may have been reverted ↗. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Chatham
The content with which you overwrote the redirect at Chatham, Quebec ↗ was apparently (at least going by the malformatted coordinates) about the place in Chatham-Kent ↗, about which we have an article and which is different from the Chatham in Brownsburg-Chatham ↗, Quebec, to which the redirect points. The only source cited in the content was for the population chart, which is already presant in the Brownsburg-Chatham article. Deor (talk) 23:10, 8 June 2026 (UTC)
:Sorry, I indeed put the wrong coordinates, I did a correction and added more sources, Thanks! Roncanada (talk) 13:25, 10 June 2026 (UTC)
