Disambiguation link notification for April 23
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Houston Cougars men's basketball ↗, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Michael Young ↗<!-- ([//dispenser.info.tm/~dispenser/cgi-bin/dablinks.py/Houston_Cougars_men%27s_basketball check to confirm] | [//dispenser.info.tm/~dispenser/cgi-bin/dab_solver.py/Houston_Cougars_men%27s_basketball?client=notify fix with Dab solver])-->. Proposed deletion ↗ of :Aleksandar Kovačević (tennis) ↗
left|link=|alt=Notice|48px| ↗
The article :Aleksandar Kovačević (tennis) ↗ has been proposed for deletion ↗ because of the following concern:
<blockquote>'''Non-notable tennis player who fails to meet WP:GNG ↗ and WP:NTENNIS ↗. No major success on the professional or the collegiate level of tennis'''</blockquote>
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons ↗.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary ↗ or on the article's talk page ↗.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process ↗, but other deletion process ↗es exist. In particular, the speedy deletion ↗ process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion ↗ allows discussion to reach consensus ↗ for deletion.<!-- Template:Proposed deletion notify --> Adamtt9 (talk) 12:38, 29 August 2021 (UTC)

Deletion tagging
Hello, TNNSUH,
It is considered good form to notify page creators when you tag an article or page they created for deletion (whether CSD, PROD or AFD/MFD/CFD/RFD/etc.). The easiest way to do this is by making use of Twinkle ↗, an editing tool that helps editors with so many tasks from tagging articles for problems to reporting vandals to noticeboards to setting up deletion discussions to posting all sorts of notifications to User talk pages. Twinkle basically remembers all of the templates you might need so you don't have to search them out when you need them. It's very user-friendly and is used by most page patrollers and many administrators on a regular basis. Just be sure when setting up your Twinkle Preferences to check the box saying "Notify page creators" and then any time you tag a page for deletion, Twinkle will inform page creators about the tagging. Notifying content creators an important step in the deletion process and I'm sure you woud want to be notified if any page you created might be deleted. I encourage you to try it out. Thank you. <span style="font-family:Papyrus; color:#800080;">'''''L'''''iz</span> '''''Read!''''' ↗ '''''Talk!''''' 22:09, 26 May 2023 (UTC)

Since you seem to not understand how things work here, you don't revert a comment on your talk page with an edit summary responding. You respond on the comment. Second, parameter descriptions are based on consensus reached over time, I don't have to point to a conversation to prove this, the parameter description proves it. The description mentions nothing about using tooltip so no it's not in compliance. And finally for millionth time other articles inclusion of content is not a valid justification for inclusion. I explained to you that the tooltip thing started with a single editor doing it then it became a domino effect. That editor is not involved with college basketball project and I've had issues with the editor in the past going against standards in the project.--<span style="color:red;">'''Rockchalk'''</span>'''717''' 02:57, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
:Seems like a nonsensical reason for something so harmless like tooltip, despite the fact that it offers more insight as to what players were tied for those who might be curious. Why are you only focused on enforcing it on one page though and not all current or past NCAA season pages that don't use ''Tied''? TNNSUH (talk) 03:45, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
What does the non-consensus chart mean in the context of a tennis profile
Why are you removing the Records against top 10 players section on all tennis pages, like Alex Michelsen ↗ what does the non-consensus chart mean, I am confused. Can you point me to where is the consensus to remove this information collected for years, in a lot of the cases, by contributors? Tagging {{reply to|Mfog99}} Mfog99 as he was experiencing the same issue, the same section under Jannik Sinner ↗ being deleted in his career statistics page.'''Sashona Sashona''' 00:50, 24 February 2024 (UTC)
:Hello, please see Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Tennis/Archive 21#Useless, original research chart on many tennis articles. Why? ↗ TNNSUH (talk) 07:43, 24 February 2024 (UTC)
::Why, because I don’t see any survey or reached consensus after voting, I see only a discussion. This needs to be brought up and voted on, not based on a singles opinion by user @Fyunck(click) Do you agree with me @Mfog99? Sashona (talk) 20:28, 24 February 2024 (UTC)
:::I believe this was also discussed on multiple player talk pages such as Iga Swiateks prior to project tennis. The charts were original research and trivial.... very difficult to know if they were accurate. A top 10 (at the time) victory chart was more than adequate. This was far from a single opinion. And most discussions at Tennis Project are not handled by an rfc where editors from every aspect of Wikipedia join in. Most editors from non-sports projects hate the number of charts we have and want most of them removed.. far more than just these trivial charts. Fyunck(click) (talk) 20:41, 24 February 2024 (UTC)
::Do you have an opinion on that? Would like your feedback. Sashona (talk) 21:38, 24 February 2024 (UTC)
::Can you please point me to the conversation where the consensus was reached on having ONLY top 10 Wins and not having Wins AND Losses? In meantime do not make changes to the Record against top 10. Sashona (talk) 04:38, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
:::There was discussion here ↗, here ↗, and here ↗. There was even a discussion on Village Pump that was archived. The only sort of consensus reached was to leave all top 10 matches/win related charts at wins only. Please leave all top 10 charts as is for the time being please. If you want to include losses as well to players who were in the top 10 at the time of the match and add it to the current consensus wins chart, then suggest it on wiki project tennis. Do not just go around including it as you see fit. TNNSUH (talk) 00:06, 9 April 2024 (UTC)

I talked with Fyunck(click) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Fyunck(click)|Fyunck(click) ↗ about this Topic - He wrote back that if said player never played a ATP Challenger final (winner or runner-up) the term "ATP Challenger" should be removed, with only "ITF World Tennis Tour" displayed on Section Name 45.183.133.107 ↗ (talk) 23:16, 2 June 2024 (UTC)
:Makes sense. For convenience purposes, I always just assumed it was easier to already include it when first making the table. Thanks for clarifying. TNNSUH (talk) 00:32, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
