25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, I'm SNUGGUMS, and welcome to Wikipedia ↗. We appreciate your contributions ↗, but in one of your recent edits, it appears that you added original research ↗, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources ↗ in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source ↗ for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources ↗. Thank you. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits ↗) 22:58, 15 August 2025 (UTC)

:I am very sorry for this inconvenience. If I am causing a problem, then I will just stop editing for Wikipedia, as I might be making articles worse with my original research-filled contributions. 25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style ↗ that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page ↗ to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. — Smjg (talk) 15:05, 3 October 2025 (UTC)

:I know this response is late, but for the record, you don't have to stop editing altogether. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Speak Your Mind ↗, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Japanese Albums Chart ↗. Such links are usually incorrect ↗, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ{{*}} Join us at the DPL WikiProject ↗.)

:@SNUGGUMS I am really sorry for the mistake. I copied and pasted that section from the "Hot n Cold" article, as both songs were recorded in the same studios, and I mistakenly kept the recording date in. I really hope you see this message, as the addition of the recording date was a mistake left off from another article. Vloggakid (talk) 21:29, 8 October 2025 (UTC)

::Remember that being recorded in the same studio doesn't necessarily mean they were recorded in the same day or even month. You would need to provide evidence showing when a track is recorded instead of simply assuming they were around the same time. The difference with "Hot n Cold" is that the article body had a source attached when mentioning a recording month. No such sourcing was found for "I Kissed a Girl". Ideally, references you attach for claims would go into the article body; the lead section is supposed to be a summary of that per WP:Manual of Style/Lead section ↗ instead of a place where new details get brought up without being mentioned anywhere else. You should have a look at this page on lead sections as well. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits ↗) 21:35, 8 October 2025 (UTC)
