Strumble Head Lighthouse ↗
You have also added some good content about Strumble Head Lighthouse. I'm very familiar with the lighthouse and the information you've added is completely correct, but the level of detail, accuracy and tone of the text, and references to features that no longer exist at the lighthouse make me think that the new content has been directly copied from the references quoted. Other comments on this page make me think that this is almost certainly the case. I'm removing the content, but please let me know if I'm mistaken and I'll be glad to see the content added. You have recently added some good information about Bardsey Lighthouse to the article on Bardsey Island ↗. However, this is unsourced. Can you please add citations to back up the information (see Wikipedia:Verifiability ↗). Information which is not backed up by citations is liable to be removed. File source problem with File:Court2.jpg
64px|left|File Copyright problem ↗
Thanks for uploading ''':File:Court2.jpg ↗'''. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright ↗ status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link ↗. '''Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged''', as described on criteria for speedy deletion ↗. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license ↗ (per Wikipedia:Fair use ↗) then '''the image will be deleted 48 hours ↗ after 14:53, 26 August 2009 (UTC)'''. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page ↗. Thank you.<!-- Template:Di-no source-notice --> <b style="color:navy;">NW</b> ''(<span style="color:green;">Talk</span>)'' 14:53, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

West Block House Point Beacons, Milford Haven
Not a problem, it just needs to be a bit more clear. The article does not use the phrase Lighthouse once. It's just not clear. It should start with ''West Block House Point Beacons'' are a series of lighthouses located in... (etc). WP Wales has had over 700 Unassessed articles added to its to do list, and I'm being heavy handed in assessing. Hope you understand. Give me a shout when the article has been addressed. Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge ↗
Hi, at Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge ↗ we're striving to bring about 10,000 article improvements and creations for the UK and Ireland and inspire others to create more content. In order to achieve this we need diversity of content, in all parts of the UK and Ireland on all topics. Eventually a regional contest will be held for all parts of the British Isles, like they were for Wales and the Wedt Country. We currently have just over 1900 articles and need contributors! If you think you'd be interested in collaborating on this and helping reach the target quicker, please sign up and begin listing your entries there as soon as possible! Thanks.♦ --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 13:41, 28 September 2016 (UTC)

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite
Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge ↗ has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge ↗. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic) ↗. For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon ↗, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:10, 7 November 2016 (UTC)

WikiProject Women in Red/The World Contest ↗
Hi. This month The Women in Red World Contest ↗ is being held to try to produce new articles for as many countries worldwide and occupations as possible. There is over £3000 in prizes to win, including Amazon vouchers and paid subscriptions. Wikimedia UK is putting up £250 specifically for editors who produce the most quality new women bios for British women, with special consideration given to missing notable biographies ↗ from the Oxford Dictionary of Biography and Welsh Dictionary of Biography. If you're not interested in prize money yourself but are willing to participate independently this is also fine, but please add any articles created to the bottom of the main contest page even if not competing. Your participation in the contest and contributing articles on British women from your area or wherever would we much appreciated. Thanks.

Speedy deletion nomination of The Big Welsh Bite Food Festival
Hello Vouliagmeni,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged The Big Welsh Bite Food Festival ↗ for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

You can leave a note on my talk page ↗ if you have questions. Thanks!

Ways to improve Cyril John Evans
Hello, Vouliagmeni,
Thank you for creating Cyril John Evans ↗.
I have tagged the page ↗ as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process ↗ and note that:
{{Quote|1=There doesn't seem to be more than 'he was a consultant surgeon' here for notability, the 'lives of the Fellows' being a routine listing. Also, I've noted a couple of pages where you're duplicating references - you should do this by naming the reference the first time its used, then using that 'name' for subsequent references. See WP:REPEATCITE ↗}}
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with <code><nowiki>{{Re|</nowiki>Klbrain<nowiki>}}</nowiki></code>. Remember to sign your reply with <code><nowiki>~~~~</nowiki></code>. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse ↗.

Speedy deletion ↗ nomination of :Cyril John Evans ↗
48px|left|alt=|link= ↗
{{Quote box|quote=<p>If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article ↗.</p><p>You may want to consider using the Article Wizard ↗ to help you create articles.</p>|width=20%|align=right}}
A tag has been placed on :Cyril John Evans ↗ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement ↗. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://livesonline.rcseng.ac.uk/client/en_GB/lives/search/detailnonmodal/ent:$002f$002fSD_ASSET$002f0$002fSD_ASSET:379445/one?qu=%22rcs%3A+E007262%22&rt=false%7C%7C%7CIDENTIFIER%7C%7C%7CResource+Identifier&h=0. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of ''information'', but not as a source of ''sentences''. This part is crucial: ''say it in your own words''. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators '''will be blocked from editing ↗'''.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you ''must'' verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials ↗. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission ↗ for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy ↗ for more details, or ask a question here ↗.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may '''contest the nomination''' by visiting the page ↗ and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines ↗. <!-- Template:Db-copyvio-notice --><!-- Template:Db-csd-notice-custom --> SunloungerFrog (talk) 11:11, 18 March 2025 (UTC)
I have sent you a note about a page you started
Hi Vouliagmeni. Thank you for your work on Dan Danino ↗. Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol ↗ and left the following comment:
{{Bq|1=Thanks for creating this page; there were concerns by some editors related to similarity or close paraphrasing of this page ↗. That is a reasonable point, so for future pages try to ensure that you're writing independently of particular sources. Notability for Danino is evidence through the 2 reliable references and noting that the CBE is also a contributing marker. It would be helpful to link this page from elsewhere.}}
To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{code|<nowiki>{{Re|</nowiki>Klbrain<nowiki>}}</nowiki>}}. <small>(Message delivered via the Page Curation ↗ tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)</small><!-- Template:Sentnote-NPF -->

:Hi Kibrain, thank you for your message. I wrote the two articles earlier this year when my mother was in the cardiac ward at the hospital. I was really impressed by the people there and wanted to record it by writing an article. The founders have saved many lives. Unfortunately I could not find much information on the web. I didn't know the rule about close paraphrasing and appreciate the input on that. If any additional information is available I will update the article and will try and rewrite it when I do. I will bear the comments in mind when writing articles. Thank you Vouliagmeni (talk) 19:41, 14 May 2025 (UTC)
The World Destubathon ↗
Hello. You're invited to participate in The World Destubathon ↗. We're aiming to destub a lot of articles and also improve longer stale articles. It started today on Monday June 16 and will run until Sunday July 13. There is over $3300 going into it, with $500 the top prize. If you are interested in winning something to save you money in buying books for future content, or just see it as a good editathon opportunity to see a lot of articles improved for subjects which interest you, sign up on the page in the participants section if interested. Even if you can only manage a few articles they would be very much appreciated and help make the content produced as diverse and broad as possible!♦ <span style="font-variant:small-caps;color:#aba67e">''Dr. Blofeld''</span> 18:07, 16 June 2025 (UTC)
Proposed deletion ↗ of :Cuisine of Neath Port Talbot ↗
left|link=|alt=Notice|48px| ↗
The article :Cuisine of Neath Port Talbot ↗ has been proposed for deletion ↗ because of the following concern:
<blockquote>'''No evidence of a distinct "cuisine of Neath Port Talbot" exists as a notable topic. Article appears to be original research/synthesis combining local history with scattered food references rather than documenting an established culinary tradition. No reliable sources establish this as a recognised cuisine worthy of encyclopaedic coverage.'''</blockquote>
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons ↗.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary ↗ or on the article's talk page ↗.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process ↗, but other deletion process ↗es exist. In particular, the speedy deletion ↗ process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion ↗ allows discussion to reach consensus ↗ for deletion.<!-- Template:Proposed deletion notify --> Keironoshea (talk) 21:57, 18 August 2025 (UTC)
