Hello Mallu.rani, what exactly do you want to discuss about Raja Ravi Varma?
Women in Red
Hi there, DesiBoy101. I've been looking at the interesting articles about women artists in India you have been writing over the past year. It would be useful to have you as a member of WikiProject Women in Red where we are trying to improve coverage of women on Wikipedia. This month's focus on Art+Feminism and Folklore seems to coincide with your interests. You can become a member by registering in the box at the top of wp:Women in Red ↗. Even if you do not feel like joining, I look forward to your future articles. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 10:55, 10 March 2022 (UTC)
:Hello Ipigott, thank you for reaching out! I'm indeed aware of the WikiProject Women in Red and the work that is done by the wonderful community. My foray into editing Wikipedia and subsequently, the Indian women artists, came about during Art+Feminism in 2021. Currently, I'm participating in one of the Indian A+F events as a part of the 2022 edition. Happy to share that I've now joined the WiR project and will check out the details of the ongoing event soon. With WiR, I look forward to extend the number of my contributions beyond the Women's History Month and hopefully make a sizeable effort throughout the year! :) DesiBoy101 (talk) 17:53, 10 March 2022 (UTC)
::Welcome to Women in Red! Good to have you as a member, DesBoy101. For reference works and related links on Indian artists, you should browse through our Redlist index ↗. If you have not already done so, you might find it useful to look through our Primer for creating women's biographies ↗. Please let me know if you run into any difficulties or need assistance. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 10:22, 11 March 2022 (UTC)
:::Thank you Ipigott! I've gone through the list and the primer that you've shared. I think I'm ready to dive right in! While going through the red list I discovered that there is one artist, Parvathi Nayar ↗ who already has a Wiki page but two Wikidata entries - https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q20563273 and https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q27452173. Maybe you can merge these two, if possible. I'm pretty sure they are the same. Also, if you could share the merge process with me, I could learn something new. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Dinshaw Bilimoria ↗, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Director ↗<!-- ([//dispenser.info.tm/~dispenser/cgi-bin/dablinks.py/Dinshaw_Bilimoria check to confirm] | [//dispenser.info.tm/~dispenser/cgi-bin/dab_solver.py/Dinshaw_Bilimoria?client=notify fix with Dab solver])-->. June 2022
Hi DesiBoy101, I just wanted to give you a heads-up that when adding infoboxes to articles, they should be placed before the introduction per WP:LAYOUT ↗. I think I have them all fixed now, so no big deal. I just wanted to message you incase you seen the edits and was wondering what I was doing. Thanks. Cmr08 (talk) 06:39, 26 June 2022 (UTC)
:Hello Cmr08, thanks for the heads-up and updating the infoboxes as well as headings. Those were some of the initial articles I'd created on Wiki when I thought that I need to place them after the first paragraph for mobile layouts, haha. I realized later that this was not the case and placed it rightly in the future pages without looking at the previous articles. Appreciate your time and effort in going through my articles. Regards - DesiBoy101 (talk) 07:07, 26 June 2022 (UTC)

:Hey! Just wanted to drop by and say that I commend you on a very strong article. When dealing with a subject that touches upon British India and ''sati'', NPOV is especially needed—your commitment to neutrality brought forward an informative and fascinating article. Thanks for you contributions and the nomination I was very glad to approve. ~ Pbritti (talk) 15:59, 13 July 2023 (UTC)
::Thank you so much @Pbritti for the appreciation as well as taking time to approve the nomination. The article has been well researched and written by @Aadrit28 (as you can see), so the entire credit goes to them. I just made little tweaks to ensure that it followed the Wikipedia guidelines and further nominated it for the DYK. Happy to see it go through the review process. :) DesiBoy101 (talk) 03:00, 14 July 2023 (UTC)

Verifiability not truth
25px|alt=|link= ↗ You have made a partial balls-up of your edit to the article on :PCMC Bhavan metro station ↗. That information was correct until Prime Minister Modi opened the section to Civil Court on 1 August 2023.

DCWC August update
The 2024 Developing Countries WikiContest ↗ has now been running for a month, and we've already seen some momentous improvement in the quality of many articles about underrepresented subjects! So far, our top-scoring participants are:
- {{DCWC participant|Magentic Manifestations}} – 338 points, mainly from nine good articles. He's a contender for the "most submissions for a single country" specialty award, with nine submissions for India.
- {{DCWC participant|Arconning}} – 305 points, including from six seasonally-appropriate Olympics-related good articles.
- {{DCWC participant|Generalissima}} – 290 points, the bulk from her featured article about Greenlandic interpreter Qalaherriaq ↗ and two China-related good articles.
- {{DCWC participant|AirshipJungleman29}} – 245 points, mostly from the achievement of bringing Genghis Khan ↗ to featured status.
- {{DCWC participant|Thebiguglyalien}} – 144 points from three good articles, including two about Kiribati elections, and four reviews of good article nominees.
Looking for ways to climb up the leaderboard yourself? Help out your fellow participants by answering a few '''review requests ↗''', particularly the older entries. Several more nominations needing attention are listed at '''eligible reviews ↗''', and highlighed entries receive a 1.5× multiplier! The coordinators would like to extend a special thanks to {{DCWC participant|Thebiguglyalien}} for his commitment to keeping these review pages up to date.

Paralympic medalists
Hello, this is to inform you that the PIB has uploaded images of the Paralympians on their website. Please upload the images here like you did for the Olympians. OCDD (talk) 17:43, 12 September 2024 (UTC)
:@OCDD - Thanks for the info. The images have been uploaded over Commons and added to Wikipedia now. DesiBoy101 (talk) 09:15, 21 September 2024 (UTC)
::Thank you. A few are still left. Like Avani Lekhara, Harvinder Singh, Sumit Antil, Nitesh Kumar etc. Will you be adding those too? Since these images are available, recent and allowed on Wikipedia, it becomes the perfect time to add / update pictures of all the medalists. OCDD (talk) 10:23, 22 September 2024 (UTC)
:::@OCDD - I think the existing photos for Avani, Sumit, Harvinder Singh and previous Paralympic medalists are good enough. For Nitesh Kumar, I couldn't find any suitable front facing image in the recent PIB albums. So I've left it for now. DesiBoy101 (talk) 19:14, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
DCWC closing update
The 2024 Developing Countries WikiContest ↗ has come to a close! After a thrilling finish to the event with a slew of submissions on the final day, we have our winners. With 608 points, <span class="nowrap">30px|Bronze Belt Buckle – 3rd place ↗ </span>{{DCWC participant|Thebiguglyalien}} comes in third with his series of Kiribati and Botswanan submissions; <span class="nowrap">30px|Silver Belt Buckle – 2nd place ↗ </span>{{DCWC participant|BeanieFan11}} flies into second place at the last second with 771 points after a string of good articles about sportspersons; and after leading for much of contest's three months, <span class="nowrap">30px|Gold Belt Buckle – 1st place ↗ </span>{{DCWC participant|Generalissima}} finishes with a whopping 798 points to take home the Gold Belt Buckle ↗. Congratulations to our winners!
In addition to his spot in the top three, {{DCWC participant|BeanieFan11}} also wins the special awards for submitting under the most countries (44 countries) and for writing the most articles about women (15 Did you know? nominations)! {{DCWC participant|Magentic Manifestations}}, after making 16 submissions under the Indian flag—15 of them good articles—receives the awards for most submissions for a single country and most featured or good articles promoted. For their submission of one FAC review, five FLC reviews, and 20 GAN reviews, {{DCWC participant|Simongraham}} wins for most article reviews.
The results of the contest have far exceeded any expectations the coordinators had for it at the beginning: among the submissions to the event were 3 FAs, 10 FLs, 88 GAs, dozens of article reviews of every kind, and more Did you know? submissions than we can count! Regardless of your level of participation, every contestant can be proud to have contributed towards a major step in countering the systemic bias on Wikipedia ↗. Every year, millions of readers and editors around the globe use Wikipedia to educate themselves and communicate with others about parts of the world that often receive less attention than they deserve. Thank you for participating with us in the contest and contributing to this effort. The DCWC will return next year and we look forward to seeing you contribute again! However, before that...

DCWC closing update
Two weeks ago, the 2025 Developing Countries WikiContest ↗ came to a close! After three months of stiff competition at the top of the leaderboard, we have our winners. <span class="nowrap">30px|Bronze Belt Buckle – 3rd place ↗ </span>{{DCWC participant/2025|Vigilantcosmicpenguin}}, continuing his work on covering abortion in Africa ↗, comes in third with 692 points. <span class="nowrap">30px|Silver Belt Buckle – 2nd place ↗ </span>{{DCWC participant/2025|Simongraham}} comes in second with 763 points, largely from a slew of good articles about jumping spider ↗s. And returning to the podium for the second year in a row, <span class="nowrap">30px|Gold Belt Buckle – 1st place ↗ </span>{{DCWC participant/2025|BeanieFan11}} takes the Gold Belt Buckle with a mind-boggling 946 points from his series of articles on sportpersons. Congratulations to our winners!
Amazingly, the award for the most countries covered goes to both {{DCWC participant/2025|BeanieFan11}} and {{DCWC participant/2025|Simongraham}}, who each submitted articles under 30 flags! {{DCWC participant/2025|BeanieFan11}} also wins for writing the most quality articles (16 good articles). For submitting 16 articles related to El Salvador, {{DCWC participant/2025|PizzaKing13}} wins the award for most submissions under one country. The award for most submissions related to women goes to both {{DCWC participant/2025|Spookyaki}} (7 biographies about women) and {{DCWC participant/2025|Vigilantcosmicpenguin}} (21 related articles). And for the second year, {{DCWC participant/2025|Simongraham}} wins for the most reviews, having submitted 21!
Among the participants' contributions were 2 FAs, 5 FLs, 124 GAs, and an uncounted number of DYKs, ITNs, and reviews of every kind! The DCWC will return next year, and we look forward to seeing you contribute again! However, before that...

Wikipedia:Destubathon of the Americas ↗
You are invited to participate in the '''Destubathon of the Americas ↗''', a contest/editathon which will run from May 1 to May 31. The goal is to destub as many of our 475,000+ stubs for the Americas (from Alaska down to Chile) as possible. A good chance to have fun in expanding many of our old stale stubs and win up to £2000 ($2680) in Amazon vouchers for expanding stub articles. Sign up in the Contestants/participants section on the contest page if interested. Even if not interested in prizes you are still warmly welcome to participate in it as an editathon! Hopefully we can achieve something significant in the month of May together! ♦ <span style="font-variant:small-caps;color:#aba67e">''Dr. Blofeld''</span> 16:52, 15 April 2026 (UTC)

:@TechnoSquirrel69 - Thank you for the information. Wanted to know if the coordinators can also participate in the contest or they will be exempt from the same? DesiBoy101 (talk) 04:02, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
::Hey DesiBoy101, coordinators recuse themselves from participating, as there's a real risk of bias in the judgment of their submissions. <span class="nowrap">—<span style="color: #0b541f;">'''TechnoSquirrel69'''</span></span> <small>(<span style="color: #0b541f;">'''sigh'''</span>)</small> 05:09, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
