Automatic Korean romanization software

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Clean_with_Passion_for_Now&action=history ↗ Please see my edit comment here; that edit you reverted was actually correct, and the person you reverted is a coauthor on the romanization software alongside me. grapesurgeon (talk) 07:48, 7 April 2026 (UTC)

:Hello Grapesurgeon,
:According to my research, the edit at this link https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=1347518375 didn’t seem accurate. Since it was made by an IP user, I reverted it based on the information I found using the Personal Dashboard. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:PersonalDashboard
:I’m still quite new to editing Wikipedia, and Korean isn’t my language, I'm sorry I relied on translations for this. I can see from your extensive edit history that you’re fluent in Korean, so thank you for pointing this out. I thanked your revert and would have undoneit myself after learning this. Introduction to contentious topics

{{ivmbox | image = Commons-emblem-notice.svg |imagesize=50px | bg = #E5F8FF | text = You have recently edited a page related to ''' the Arab–Israeli conflict ↗''', a topic designated as '''''contentious ↗'''''. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and <em>does <strong>not</strong> imply that there are any issues with your editing</em>.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as ''contentious topics''. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee ↗. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators ↗ have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit <strong>carefully and constructively</strong>, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

<p><strong>Additionally, you must be logged in, have 500 edits, and have an account age of 30 days ↗, and you are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on any page within this topic.</strong></p><p>Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics <em>procedures</em>, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard ↗ or you may learn more about this contentious topic ↗. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{tl|Ctopics/aware}} template. </p>}}<!-- Derived from Template:Contentious topics/alert/first --> Rainsage (talk) 17:59, 13 May 2026 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Before adding a category to an article, as you did to :Health in Namibia ↗, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines ↗. ::Most of them, to be honest. Please do outline your specific objections on talk

Hello Lumen. Regarding this ↗, having gotten over my initial offense at your characterization of my editing, I would like to encourage you to raise your specific objections regarding NPOV and due weight at Talk:Languages of Palestine ↗. Please feel free to highlight specific terminology, phrasing, sentences or framings you feel need balancing, removal, or modification. I am open to collaborating on changing any of my additions, if there are valid, constructive criticisms. Thank you! Tiamut (talk) 10:10, 12 June 2026 (UTC)

:I have continued to engage with you on the talk page, and I do not think it is appropriate to criticize my seeking advice at the Teahouse when I am concerned that a dispute may arise. LumenArchivorum (talk) 10:25, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
::The problem is not going to Teahouse for advice. It was in your presumptuous characterization of my editing. I will note you have yet to raise a specific problem with my edits there. I am not a mind reader and cannot guess where the POV problems you claim are there lie. Be specific and we can make progress. Tiamut (talk) 10:44, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
:::I have raised my problem in the talkpage, and if you don't like that I described your stile of writing in this particular article as failing NPOV that is nothing personal, it is about editing. Please stop this. LumenArchivorum (talk) 10:47, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
::::Sorry, but you need to be more specific ↗. I won't leave you any further messages here, as you seem to be interpreting them poorly. Tiamut (talk) 11:06, 12 June 2026 (UTC)

Your participation at AE

Note that you must only comment in your own section, and that everything you say must be backed by evidence. So for example if you say a user has been combative, you must cite links that demonstrate that behavior, and explain why you think it's combative.

Also note that you have a word limit of 500. Your judgement on the other evidence and your opinion on whether Tiamut should be sanctioned are not that relevant; since you're not an administrator, your opinion is not weighed in the final decision. Administrators will review your evidence and decide whether it's sanctionable. I'd recommend deleting all you've written with the exception of this comment ↗, which you must move to your own statement section. Then add evidence to your statement and explain why and how you think rules were violated.

Co-nomination

I nominated Languages of Palestine ↗ for a WP:DYK ↗ here ↗. I added you as a co-nominator for your work on the article since June 11th and because it was your suggestions to improve the article that led me to expand its content enough for it to qualify for a DYK. Also, you indicated that you will continue adding to it, so I wanted to make sure your efforts are recognized too. I hope you do not mind being listed as a co-nominator without me consulting you first. If you do, please free feel to comment at the linked page and ask to have your name removed. Have a good day! Tiamut (talk) 09:37, 15 June 2026 (UTC)

:Thank you so much for your message, and for adding me as a co-nominator. That was very kind of you, and I really appreciate it. It’s been rewarding to see the article develop.
:This has also been a learning experience for me. I admit that I was not prepared for such intense talkpage discussions or the relating discussions which are all new to me, and as you understand a rather stressful experience, being no fault of any person, it's just a new situation with rules and technical steps I don't have time to learn while simultaneously contributing well to Languages of Palestine. I’ve realized that I tend to work best at a slower pace, both in building out content and in talk page discussions, and I think focusing on that will help me continue growing as an editor.
:Thank you again for your work on the article and for including me, I’m very grateful to have played a small part in it. LumenArchivorum (talk) 22:04, 15 June 2026 (UTC)
::You are welcome. And I am sorry that the experience was tense and overwhelming for you. Not only is the ARBPIA topic area rather inclined to that despite best efforts to avoid it, but there was an added dispute, an intense personal dynamic in which I have been unfortunately embroiled that was imported into the discussions there as well, and that you have likely had no knowledge of (nor should you have to).
::In any case, I hope there are no hard feelings and that once you feel you have a hang of the regular editing basics, you will venture back to making contributions in the CT area. And you are welcome back to that article anytime. Happy editing! Tiamut (talk) 08:42, 16 June 2026 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, I'm Gnomingstuff. An edit that you recently made seemed to be generated using a large language model ↗ (an "AI chatbot ↗" or other application using such technology). :Hi Gnomingstuff,
:Thanks for taking the time to leave me a note and for flagging the diff at the noticeboard. I’ve gone back to look at the edit you pointed out (1345574273) and at the current guidance about large language models.
:You’re right that there’s a problem with that edit. My intention was to copy and paste source information that I had been working with, but in the proccess I mistakenly copied over a Perplexity‑generated summary and its file URL instead of the underlying source details. That meant AI‑derived prose and an AI artifact ended up in mainspace, which isn’t okay under the pressent rules.
:I’m starting to fixing this by removing the Perplexity citation and either rewriting or cutting the sentences that came from AI output, making sure that what remains is based on solid sources I’ve actually read and written in my own words. I’m also going through my edits in general to review how I ells my have worked in anyway but in accordance with Wikipedia rules and guidelines.
:From here on I’ll be much stricter with myself, if I use tools like that, it’ll only be outside Wikipedia for brainstorming and searching for academic sources.
:I appreciate you raising this rather than ignoring it. If you come across other specific diffs where you think AI‑derived text or citations are still lurking, please do point me to them and I’ll sort them out
