Hello!



Heya! Firstly, thank you for your help with improving the 'pedia for the last couple months. I've taken a look at your vandalism reverts, and everything was looking totally good from what I've seen. It's quite heartening to hear that you'd also be interested in reviewing new pages!

I saw your proposition over at the village pump, and I can definitely see the mindset that you were coming from, in regards to extended-confirmed being the cut-off for reviewing. Hopefully you took some positives away from that, although a bunch of people were quick to add their own thoughts there. What I WILL say in regards to that suggestion, is that if you are interested in seriously getting "into the weeds" with page patrolling, a good start for this path would be potentially finding a mentor at WP:NPPSCHOOL ↗ that can help guide some of your early reviews. It's by no means a ''requirement'' per se, but going through the program is a good way to ease into making consistent, quality patrols, without the fear of having a bunch of editors hound over a mistake in real time.

Anyway, I guess my point is that reviewing new pages is a pretty important ''volunteer'' position. But, if you're interested in "taking the next step" into that area, it's very nice to hear! I'd potentially be willing to be a trainer for you later on, if that's something you'd like to do in the future. Hello CosXZ. I see you have successfully nominated two BC municipality-type lists as FLs. Thanks for doing such. I have a history of bringing most every "List of ''Xs'' in ''Province/Territory''" across Canada to just shy of FLC nomination, including BC's cities, towns, and district municipalities. As you continue to move these to the end zone, please consider taking the co-nomination approach like Mattximus and I did for the many of those in the "List of municipalities in ''Province/Territory''" series. ::::::::I see, I see. I agree that the reforms can certainly add a fair bit of content under the towns/villages fields. In all honesty, as somebody from here, I (and probably plenty of others) sometimes tend to forget that the local government reforms even happened given how rarely the names of the newly-amalgamated municipalities are actually used by word of mouth, local/provincial news and media, and from highway signs. From what I'm sensing, the post-reform names are what actually go on the paper and are officially used but otherwise everybody seems to just use the names of the old communities as if the LGR had never happened. An example of this can be seen in an article by ''Telegraph-Journal ↗'' where they mention multiple filming locations in the province for the upcoming TV series ''Revival ↗'' which includes Norton ↗, (now officially part of Valley Waters ↗). As I digress, I wish you luck if you choose to work on those @Hwy43. Articles like 46th Avenue and Vicente station ↗ and 46th Avenue and Ulloa station ↗ are <150 words; those are definitely still stubs. Articles like 2nd and King station ↗ and Allston Street station ↗ in the ~250 word range are plausibly start class, but I don't think they're C class. Teck Lee LRT



Hi, as you have mentioned the source I cited for the etymology was a mirror of wikipedia. I have been trying to find other sources that discuss the origin of the teck lee LRT station name to no avail, do you have any recommendations for finding any sources regarding it? I have also tried finding stuff related to Lim Teck Lee but none mention this LRT station even though it is named after him, so that method also did not work. Editors experienced in drives or blitzes and in good standing (unblocked and without sanctions) are invited to '''nominate themselves or another editor (with their permission, of course) to be a Guild coordinator''' ↗ until 23:59 on 15 December (UTC). The voting phase begins at 00:01 on 16 December and runs until 23:59 on 31 December. Questions may be asked of candidates at any stage in the process.
