Hello, Yadsalohcin. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Howard Bishop ↗, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

Also, ''be sure to explain why'' you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page ↗. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

Your edits to Auto-Cycle Union ↗
I've reverted your edits which extended the primary source ↗ that extended the citation I added in September 2015; nothing in the website verifies the original name, or the 1904 date for FIM, or "arrange touring facilities for members".--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 16:45, 26 May 2016 (UTC)
:Thanks for your efforts. The 1911 TT \ ACU Wiki page should be disregarded as WP is an unreliable source, and should not be used as a form of synthesis ↗. It was completely uncited original research ↗, added in this change ↗, in August 2006. They wrote anything they liked back then. I spend much time nowadays disbelieving WP articles, and having to delve into the past. The IoMTT.com is a primary source ↗ and can be useful for results, but should not be relied upon for historical content as we don't know who's writing the stuff (and when) and they could have sourced it from WP, so WP:CIRCULAR ↗. I'll add it to my list (of things to keep an eye out for). rgds,--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 23:03, 26 May 2016 (UTC)

Contested deletion
This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... well, OK the article's not the biggest issue in the world today, but animal welfare is important and here are some people doing their best to help, so it seemed it would be good to help them by recording what they're doing... and they specialise in Pot-bellied pig ↗s, not just an individual animal, but "a breed of domesticated pig" etc. I see under CSD-A7 "This criterion does not apply to species of animals, only to individual animal(s)". So as the article is about a breed, hence neither about (an) individual(s) nor about the entire species, perhaps it falls in some grey area... Not-so-speedy deletion? Not deletion at all?--Yadsalohcin (talk) 22:55, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of North Mountain Animal Sanctuary ↗
left|link=|48px| ↗
The article North Mountain Animal Sanctuary ↗ has been proposed for deletion ↗ because of the following concern:
:'''Non notable, fails :WP:GNG ↗ and lacks :WP:RS ↗'''
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons ↗.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary ↗ or on the article's talk page ↗.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process ↗, but other deletion process ↗es exist. In particular, the speedy deletion ↗ process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion ↗ allows discussion to reach consensus ↗ for deletion.<!-- Template:Proposed deletion notify --> Gbawden (talk) 09:29, 22 February 2017 (UTC)
Speedy deletion ↗ nomination of :Willows Animal Sanctuary ↗
48px|left|alt=|link= ↗

A tag has been placed on :Willows Animal Sanctuary ↗, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It appears to be a clear copyright ↗ infringement of http://www.willowsanimals.com/. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of ''information'', but not as a source of ''sentences''. This part is crucial: ''say it in your own words''. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators '''will be blocked from editing ↗'''. <p>If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you ''must'' verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials ↗. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission ↗. However, even if you use one of these processes to release copyrighted material to Wikipedia, it still needs to comply with the other policies and guidelines ↗ to be eligible for inclusion. If you would like any assistance with this, you can ask a question at the help desk ↗.</p>
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, ''etc.''), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable ↗.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may '''contest the nomination''' by visiting the page ↗ and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines ↗. — Diannaa <span style="color:red">🍁</span> (talk) 02:26, 26 February 2017 (UTC)

Your edits to Draft:Jacaranda_Books
Thanks for your edit on Draft:Jacaranda_Books ↗. Yesterday I made an update after doing a huge research effort, which is still unfinished. I tried to keep all your contributions and added comments about where to expand with more information, comments with more information found still to make part of the text and a historic context section. I'll be glad to have your review on the content I already published, as your contributions on the on going research.
Feel free to delete this section. Thank you again. <!-- Template:Unsigned --><small class="autosigned">— Preceding unsigned ↗ comment added by Gatsbimantico (talk • contribs ↗) 10:47, 6 February 2019 (UTC)</small> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

Hi {{ping|Yadsalohcin}} Thanks for adding some content to the above and fixing the ref tags. Any help is appreciated. I'm currently creating this article People of the Red Orchestra ↗ and using it to find out how many groups there were before I finish updating the Red Orchestra ↗ article. When I started I never realised how much work had been done in the post war years to determine what Red Orchestra was and its meant update had become substially bigger. Gießener Anzeiger article
Hi Yadsalohcin- Thanks for your participation on the Bhakdi article. I can't access that GA article. I'm wondering if we might change the wording on the bit you added re Mainz distancing itself. Without seeing the original text, I would normally think something like this would be expressed {{xt|The U of M issued a statement to the effect that it does not support/agree with B's views...}}, but I would not want to edit what you put without seeing how it was presented in the GA. Eric talk 15:43, 4 December 2020 (UTC)
:Hi Eric talk, and thanks to ''you'' for your work on the Bhakdi article too. My apologies to you and the wikiworld if I was inaccurate or misleading with my edit- after all the raging on the talk page and the delay before being able to re-instate lost text I was perhaps over-eager and hasty in my addition, which came out rather too informally. I have been trying to avoid being inflammatory or contra-BLP policy, but on this occasion my wording was a bit hastily thrown up and I can see it might be taken in a way I had not intended. Alternative ref supplied as I now realise I had based the words on sight (some days ago) of the reference web-page's title and summary, so 'accessed' would have been better expressed 'header accessed' or similar.Yadsalohcin (talk) 18:59, 4 December 2020 (UTC)

block placed on User talk:120.29.98.80
Dear User:Kralizec!,
thankyou for your actions in regard to the block placed on User talk:120.29.98.80. Having checked the words at Wikipedia:Blocking policy ↗ I am none the wiser as to case history or typical blocking durations, however I am concerned that 31 hours is a relatively brief period. During this time, those making ''bona fide'' edits, in particular to update information regarding the spread of certain covid variants (specifically 501.V2 variant ↗ and Lineage P.1 ↗) will not to be doubling their efforts in order to check for and delete spurious entries from the 'rogue' user every time they perform an edit, and provide warnings to the user talk page. I think in particular of myself and the user 'User:SpookiePuppy'. In the last week, the edits from User:120.29.98.80 have all had to be reverted (as far as I know all of those (few) not tagged as 'reverted' have been reverted manually). The fictitious entries from the user have continued despite all the reversions and despite comments in the edit summaries and despite the warnings posted at their talk page- you may draw your own conclusions about this, but the kindest explanation I can imagine is that the user has no interest in such niceties as info sent to them via their talk page and the notification icons and no interest in checking previous edit summaries as to why contributions have been reverted. But that doesn't entirely fit with the fact that they have progressed from unreferenced contributions to falsely referenced ones, after certain edit summaries 'called them out' for such behaviour, which suggests to me less charitable explanations. So, without wishing to sound unduly like Judge Jefferies ↗ in my approach, I cannot help feeling that, in order to reduce the efforts required by ''bona fide'' contributors, a block measured in months (I wanted to say 'or years') would be more appropriate than one of 31 hours. Best wishes, Yadsalohcin (talk) 23:50, 22 February 2021 (UTC)

SARS-CoV-2 lineages/variants
Hello. I'm Prof Oliver Pybus, co-developer of the Pango SARS-CoV-2 lineage nomenclature system. Thanks for your work on the Wikipedia pages about this. I wonder if you could help us clarify the system on the site (we are not Wikipedians). Specifically, we need separate pages for the "Pango nomenclature system" and for "Pangolin". The former is the set of rules used to name the lineages, whilst latter is a software tool that implements those rules, and confusion arises if the two are conflated. trans-titles on Hualien train derailment ↗
Please stop using the translations you have for the titles of references, from wherever you taken them from. There are a number that are riddled with mistakes that are obvious to those who know Chinese. – robertsky (talk) 08:42, 6 April 2021 (UTC)
:Usually where I have any doubts about a translation I try the reverse translation to check things are not getting too distorted. I generally abandon matters when it's beyond my knowledege or ability to deduce the most appropriate translation. However, for this article, if I recall, a number of extra time-pressures arose and in haste I committed some less-well-checked trans-titles into the article. My apologies. ''Mea maxima culpa''. Speedy deletion ↗ nomination of :Humanitarian Pilots Initiative ↗

A tag has been placed on :Humanitarian Pilots Initiative ↗, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam ↗ and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations ↗ for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may '''contest the nomination''' by visiting the page ↗ and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines ↗. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the {{Querylink|Special:Log|qs=type=delete&page=Humanitarian+Pilots+Initiative|deleting administrator}}. <!-- Template:Db-spam-notice --> <!-- Template:Db-csd-notice-custom --> '''<span style="color:#536895;">Onel</span><span style="color:#ffb300;">5969</span>''' <i style="color:blue">TT me</i> 02:31, 9 August 2021 (UTC)

Simlar flags
Hello. I wanted to ask you, to please, stop recreating section "simlar flags" in the article about the White-blue-white flag ↗. Articles about flags arent' supposed to have sections about similar or "identical flags". For example, here is a bunch of red and white flags from around the world, of which, non has a section about the ""simlar flags" in its articles:
- Flag of Poland ↗
- Flag of Monaco ↗
- Flag of Indonesia ↗
- Flag of Brandenburg ↗
- Flag of Hesse ↗
- Flag of Thuringia ↗
- Flag of Greenland ↗
- etc
You can see the same thing for other colour schemes such as blue-yellow-red:
Flag having huge similarities with other flags is normal and regular occurrence, and adding such information into articles about flags, usually fall under the "trivia" category, which is not welcomed on Wikipedia.
So please, stop.

Non-attributed translations
25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text from :es:Prabhakar Menon ↗ to another page. While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing ↗ '''requires that you provide attribution''' to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in an '''edit summary ↗''' on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation and linking ↗ it to the source page. Sample wording for this is given here ↗. If you forgot, or were not aware of this requirement, attribution '''must be given retroactively ↗''', for example:
: <code><nowiki>NOTE: Content in the edit of 01:25, January 25, 2023 was translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at :fr:Exact name of French article ↗; see its history for attribution.</nowiki></code>
Retroactive attribution may be added using a dummy edit ↗; see Repairing insufficient attribution ↗.
It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{tl|translated page}} template on the talk page of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, you must add attribution retrospectively ↗, even if it was a long time ago. Palestine Action contributions
My apologies, Yadsalohcin, I should have been less strongly worded in my opinion that the talk page is the right place for the clarity you desired about the two other organisations proscribed with PA while it is still under discussion, and perhaps I should have been clearer in my reasons: the other organisations are clearly named in the reference, but it is not obvious whether it is better to name them with a possible misinterpretation for a reader that there is some association between the groups, or to name them and say PA is very different to them and parliamentarians expressed concern that grouping them together would affect the voting in parliament. I appreciate and have thanked you before for contributions and I should have carried on with similar courtesy. SciberDoc (talk) 09:51, 9 July 2025 (UTC)
:Thank you for the note on the PA talk page. I copied text directly from the article into the talk page and thought I had got your precise wording, but it is evolving so fast I may have copied an altered version inadvertently. I have altered my note on the talk page and hope that reduces any confusion as to what you wanted. SciberDoc (talk) 13:08, 9 July 2025 (UTC)
::I like your change just made, but our simultaneous editing has caused a conflict which I am resolving at the moment and hope you will be happy with.
::If you want anything I've just done changed that might be seen as a reversion, I can revert and amend my own without causing problems for either of us with 1RR. Smaller adjustments you make yourself to my text wouldn't cause trouble either — unless I get mean and revert them again! ( ; Of course I don't intend to. SciberDoc (talk) 19:27, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
:::I've added refs that I think cover what you need, and I've put in my changes Please review how it is now and check you're happy. We are essentially trying to do the same thing, I think. Best wishes, SciberDoc (talk) 19:54, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
Invitation to help with a draft
Hi @Yadsalohcin, I’m currently working on Draft:Global Sumud Flotilla ↗, and I thought you might be interested in helping to develop it into a full article, since you’ve contributed to related topics before. If you have time, I’d appreciate your input, whether it’s adding sourced material, refining the language, or helping with structure. Your expertise could really help bring it to mainspace. Thanks, and I hope you can join in! Goku from bd (talk) 13:26, 10 August 2025 (UTC)
:Hi @Goku from bd, thanks for this - it's good to hear of this venture. I'm seriously impressed with the spirit of those arranging and those taking part in these flotillas, and also impressed with and grateful for your effort in getting the draft into what's looking to me, already, like a good start for the article. I see that another editor has done a lot of further tidying now. Apart from selecting refs justifying each claim, and adding categories, I think you had the article ready for publication to Wikipedia mainspace- you could usefully now go ahead and move it there! See https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:DRAFTMOVE&redirect=no / wp:draftmove... Thanks again, - Yadsalohcin (talk) 08:47, 11 August 2025 (UTC)
::Thank you very much for your encouraging words and for taking the time to review and tidy the draft, I truly appreciate your feedback and support. That said, I’m currently just a auto confirmed and a extended confirmed user, so I would need to either submit the draft for review or publish it directly to the mainspace. Given your experience, which option would you recommend in this case? Thanks again! Goku from bd (talk) 10:56, 11 August 2025 (UTC)
:::In this case, as it's looking reasonably ready and the event is forthcoming soon so there's likely to be increasing news flow, I'd go with the general injunction to be BOLD and hit the 'Publish now' button... HTH, - Yadsalohcin (talk) 11:48, 11 August 2025 (UTC)

Hello Yadsalohcin:
'''WikiProject Women in Green ↗''' is holding a '''month-long Good Article Editathon event in October 2025 ↗'''!<br /><br />
Running from October 1 to 31, 2025, WikiProject Women in Green (WiG) is hosting a Good Article (GA) editathon event with the theme '''What Women Do'''! All experience levels welcome. Never worked on a GA project before? We'll teach you how to get started. Or maybe you're an old hand at GAs – we'd love to have you involved! Participants are invited to work on nominating and/or reviewing GA submissions related to women and women's works (e.g., books, films) during the event period. We hope to collectively cover article subjects from at least '''31 different occupations or professions''' (or broader roles in society) by month's end. GA resources and one-on-one support will be provided by experienced GA editors, and participants will have the opportunity to earn a special WiG barnstar for their efforts.
We hope to see you there!

::No problem! For what it's worth, even if the article did not meet the GA criteria, I did really enjoy reading it. I completely agree, that's a good place to start. I think some of the refs I gave would help replace the problematic ones at the moment, since they seem to say similar things. On body neutrality
Hi, I noticed you were cleaning up Body neutrality ↗. I decided to delete the two new sections that were added since they weren't too well-written and read like essays, citing articles in the prose and having multiple grammar errors. Do you know any way you can add those back and clean them up? I'm not too experienced in cleaning up something like this. Additionally, I think the adopters of body neutrality section needs cleaning up too, as it reads similarly, but less severe. HurricaneZeta (T) (C ↗) 15:28, 17 October 2025 (UTC)
:Hi @HurricaneZeta, thanks for letting me know. Maybe the students wishing to expand the article should work their changes up on a separate sandbox and get it reviewed before committing too much more to mainspace? I've left some hints on two of their talk pages. Meanwhile perhaps someone can pull a few choice statements out of the wreckage you've deleted... Yadsalohcin (talk) 16:06, 17 October 2025 (UTC)

Paraphrasing
Please read WP:PARAPHRASE ↗.
It is ''not'' a summary if you copy/paste:
- {{tq|Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky}} to a position in an article in which the reader ''must'' know who Zelenskyy by this stage
- {{tq|Moscow}} and {{tq|Washington}}, which are newsy-speak, and clues that someone has copy/pasted instead of summarising

Hello Yadsalohcin:
This month, February 2026, '''WikiProject Women in Green ↗''' is participating in the February 2026 GAN Backlog Drive ↗, in which we're aiming to review as many outstanding Good Article (GA) nominations about women and women's works as possible. If you want to help out, you can check out the project talk page ↗ for a list of nominations in need of review (including some WiG originals). If you haven't reviewed a GA nomination before, be sure to check out the reviewing instructions ↗ and guidelines ↗ and feel free to ask for a mentor ↗ to check your work.
We are also working together with a wikithon hosted on 5 February by Wikimedia UK, which will focus on writing and improving articles about women involved in sustainable development. If you want to join the event, feel free to sign up at the eventbrite page ↗; or if you would be interested in providing a 20-minute assessment and/or a full GA review of the submitted articles in the weeks following, put your name down on the project talk page ↗ for updates as the event progresses.
We hope to see you there!

Association for Juridical Studies on Immigration ↗ moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to Association for Juridical Studies on Immigration ↗. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because '''it needs more sources to establish notability''' and '''the article relies on sourcs which are not independent from the subject'''.
I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page ↗.
When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Boynamedsue (talk) 02:30, 29 March 2026 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to :Agnieszka Duczmal ↗. :Hi @Zackmann08 thankyou for the link to 'findargdups'. I can assure you that I am familiar with the use of the preview button to check my edits prior to publishing and did so on this occasion- the preview gave no indication of a duplicate argument (possibly that error may have been outweighed by the soft error flagged regarding the use of a deprecated archival service?) - Yadsalohcin (talk) 23:22, 10 June 2026 (UTC)

About the quote on the Filton article
Hi! The quote by Marwan Makhoul was shouted by Leona Kamio, not Charlotte Head, as mentioned at the end of the source "ref name="NM_correction", which is a correction of the previous article by Novara Media and that's the reason why in the edit summary I wrote "see the ref I added". Thanks, Bloomingbyungchan (talk) 19:53, 14 June 2026 (UTC)
:hi @Bloomingbyungchan, thanks for this. The ref you added seems to take me to "Activists Jailed for up to 8 Years As Terrorists Over Israeli Arms Facility Raid", continuing 'They were sentenced for criminal damage with a ‘terrorism connection’.' by Simon Childs ↗, dated 12 June 2026. https://novaramedia.com/2026/06/12/activists-jailed-for-up-to-8-years-as-terrorists-over-israeli-arms-facility-raid/
:I don't see a correction in this article... Am I missing something? - Yadsalohcin (talk) 20:11, 14 June 2026 (UTC)
::Yes, at the bottom of the article there's this written: "Correction: This article previously stated that Head shouted the Makhoul quote. In fact it was Kamio." Bloomingbyungchan (talk) 20:15, 14 June 2026 (UTC)
:::Hmm, I'm definitely missing that- at the foot of my copy it says: " ... aggravating factor. Simon Childs is a commissioning editor and reporter for Novara Media. Tweet article..." What text do you have before and after the correction? Yadsalohcin (talk) 20:22, 14 June 2026 (UTC)
::::The correction is between "aggravating factor" and "Simon Childs is..." Bloomingbyungchan (talk) 20:30, 14 June 2026 (UTC)
:::::That's certainly a good place for a correction, but it's still not showing up on my screen, neither on my android mobile nor on Firefox on my laptop; have checked the code for the page and I don't see the correction. Looking more closely at search results, I see one novara media webpage summary attributing it to Kamio, and one novara media webpage summary attributing it to Head, along with their facebook page and their and another X tweet and 2x Instagram feeds all mentioning Head as the shouter. When I click on the NM Kamio link in the search results, it takes me to the page saying it was Head, with no correction. Can you try loading your page anew? - Yadsalohcin (talk) 22:20, 14 June 2026 (UTC)
::::::I can still see the correction, on all the browsers (and on different devices) through which I read the article. Should I fix the sentence once again or leave it as it currently is? Thanks, Bloomingbyungchan (talk) 09:23, 15 June 2026 (UTC)
:::::::I still get no 'correction' when I follow the link. But this seems an important thing to report - it's a shame there only seems to be the one source and our differing means of access appear to throw up two versions. I'd suggest we compromise for now by leaving out exactly who said it and just attribute it to 'one of the activists'. Giving the extra of whether there was a partially visible correction would seem excessive! - Yadsalohcin (talk) 11:10, 15 June 2026 (UTC)
::::::::Viewing the ref on a different machine from a different IP I get at last to see the correction sentence. Thanks for bringing this up. - Yadsalohcin (talk) 23:30, 15 June 2026 (UTC)
